DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
The Basics:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong operational knowledge in an industrial environment
- At least two year of experience as Roller Operator (Hot or Cold rolling)
- Understand all aspects of the function of HMI Screens (How to troubleshoot Mill operation sequencing
- Must be certified or have the ability to certify in crane operations
The Extras:
- Step-up manager experience preferred
- Reversible Cold Mill experience preferred

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Training and providing leadership and guidance to Roller Operators
- Assembling the mill with new rolls
- Roll the Mill (Thread ups, Cleanup of Mill wrecks)
- Monitor shape, surface, and gauge of the material
- Calibration of the mill stands
- Calibration of X-Ray gauges, and how they function
- Understand the CVC System
- Roll Changes and troubleshoot problems as they occur
- Control mill speeds
- Identify defects inside the mill and on inspection strip
- Verify Rolls in the Mill (Back-ups and Work Rolls)
- Emulsion Room responsibilities to include walk through and check for leaks, valves are in correct position, proper operations of the: Mag Separators/Simmers, Sludge Bins, Screw Conveyors, Base Oil System, Wastewater System/Backwash Filters etc.
- Run Emulsion concentration every shift for tanks that are in operation
- Work with roll shop on roll changes
- Maintain cleanliness of work area

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Industrial setting in the Reverse Cold Mill
- Gulf coast region in Calvert, AL
- May work in currently operating mill until NOES Commissioning
- Schedule may vary during start-up including days only for unspecified duration
- Shift Work – Rotating 12-hour shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
