DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?  

The Basics:

  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
  • At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing/production setting
  • Knowledge of coating processes including defects identification
  • Curing oven basics
  • Knowledge of degreasing and coating sections
  • Understanding of roll coating applications
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Strong operational knowledge in an industrial environment
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Share Point)

 

The Extras:

  • Steel Industry experience preferred
  • Step-up manager experience preferred
  • Metals Industry experience preferred

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Taking a lead role in developing our culture along with our processes and procedures throughout each different phase of the project from construction to commissioning to full time operation
  • Provide training to team members and help maintain work instructions and job safe practices to ensure the transfer of knowledge to others
  • Work closely with team to react to quality defects to minimize losses
  • Maintain equipment performance and reliability on the operating lines
  • Ensure efficiency with operation of line equipment
  • Support/Perform inspections and assistance in Maintenance trouble shooting
  • Understand/Meet process conditions for running all NOES Products
  • Qualified (or ability to qualify in) all lift equipment including cranes and forklifts

 

 

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Industrial setting in the Non-grain Oriented Electrical Steel facility
  • Gulf coast region in Calvert, AL
  • Shift Work – Rotating 12 hour shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays

 

LEVEL POTENTIAL:

  • Level 3
