Located in Calvert, 35 miles north of Mobile, Alabama, our state-of-the-art steel processing facility has the capacity to process 5.3 million tons of high-value steel grades in the North America market. The ideal candidate will provide professional and confidential administrative support to executive leadership, managing day-to-day operational needs to enhance the business goals of AM/NS Calvert. 


The Basics:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience providing administrative support to senior leadership position required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of SAP


The Extras:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Intermediate experience with SAP preferred

  • Schedules and organizes complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, meals, and activities for members of the Executive Team, including maintaining and managing Executive calendars                                 
  • Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high-level staff such as CEOs, Presidents, Vendors, Community Officials and Customers both verbally and in writing
  • Prepares presentations, take meeting notes, and maintains multiple schedules
  • Handles confidential and non-routine information, which includes reviewing Executive emails
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handling matters expeditiously and proactively
  • Follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • Acts as project manager for special projects at the request of the Executive team, which may include planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, coordinating direct mailings, and creating brochures
  • Supports market data analyst in maintenance of the department finances, to include copying check requests and sending to accounts payable travel reimbursement and documenting corporate credit card expenses to corporate finance
  • Processes vacation/time off requests, review/approve visitor requests, issues extended visitor passes, and coordinates on site tours
  • Supports Team Members by assisting with HelpDesk tickets, ordering office supplies, entering Purchase Requisitions and Goods Receipts, order food and/or flowers for various events, notarizing paperwork, and office/desk key management
