Located in Calvert, 35 miles north of Mobile, Alabama, our state-of-the-art steel processing facility has the capacity to process 5.3 million tons of high-value steel grades in the North America market.   • Provide technical support including MS product technical training for IT helpdesk and Infrastructure staff.
  • Providing on-site technical support solutions for customer service delivery and availability satisfaction with Microsoft software on the SCCM clients and Site System Servers.
  • Work as part of the IT Infrastructure team consisting of Application Integration Specialists, Data Center Specialists, and Network Specialist to rapidly respond to needs in support of IT operations.
  • Supports encryption and desktop imaging technologies.



  • The primary job functions include, but are not limited to, developing and performing processes to achieve the following:
    • IT Configuration Identification
    • IT Configuration Change Control
    • IT Configuration Status Accounting
    • IT Configuration Verification And Audits
    • Microsoft Product Release And Delivery
    • Collect, publish, and publicize SCCM measurements and metrics.
  • Responsible for the daily operation of the configuration management system insuring build integrity and efficient operations.
  • Work with IT Infrastructure staff to ensure proper configuration base lining of new technologies being deployed within the AMNS network.
  • Provides Systems Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Applications Development to ensure systems compliance with other systems within the TK network.
  • Provide Configuration Changes (deliveries and re-deliveries) to test environments; help determine configurations needed for testing.
  • Help establish and base line laboratory environment configurations and restorable images for use by AMNS helpdesk and the infrastructure staff.
  • Provide Backend NetApp Support for User base
  • Provide MS Active Directory support for organization
  • Responsible for deploying sitewide MS updates via SCCM
  • Familiar with VMware vSphere/vCenter technology
  • Familiar with Storage Area Network (SAN) technology

  • Ensure working knowledge of competencies as defined in ISO 14001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 17025:2017 



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft MCSE, MCSA preferred



  • Solid understanding of standard client/server, networking, and Internet fundamentals.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft SCCM 2012 with experience in managing medium to large environments.
  • Understand patch management, software distribution and logging.
  • Experience in other Microsoft Management technologies, including Active Directory services (AD) and WSUS.
