DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

The ideal candidate will be capable of diagnosing problems and developing and implementing solutions in SAP HANA (HANA modeling, Analytics, SQL query development), will effectively understand relevant business processes and model them internally, as well as perform highly complex tasks dealing with the analysis and design of solutions serving both the business line and functional units to support the business needs of AM/NS Calvert.

 

THE BASICS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or combination of post-secondary education and related experience required
  • 5+ years minimum experience in SAP HANA development and/or implementation
  • Detailed understanding of SAP HANA models is required
  • Familiarity with BOBJ, SAP SAC, or other analytic solutions necessary
  • Should have demonstrated knowledge about manufacturing processes in a steel producer/processor industry or similar manufacturing environment
  • Project management skills needed (i.e. project plan development and tracking, issue resolution, risk mitigation, metrics development and tracking)
  • Proficiency in MS Office products

 

 

THE EXTRAS

  • Experience with SAP HANA, SAP BOBJ, and SAP SAC is a plus
  • Experience in the SAP modules preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP maintenance tools beneficial

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING          

  • Provides necessary coordination, facilitating interactive analysis and design sessions with representatives of business line and functional units
  • Provides guidance to business and functional units in developing tests and training plans and materials
  • Carries out detailed system design and writes specs for development
  • Specifies and applies testing and quality monitoring procedures
  • Provides day-to-day user support, as well as drives improved user productivity through developing and implementing new business process and systems solutions

  • Demonstrates commitment to teamwork by fostering an environment that embodies trust and respect
  • Ensure working knowledge of competencies as defined in ISO 14001 (current version), IATF 16949 (current version), and ISO 17025 (current version)

  • Days, Monday to Friday with extended hours as required due to periods of peak workloads
