DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
The ideal candidate will lead, support, and develop a technical team dedicated to Cold Roll Mill Process Technology activities to effectively support AM/NS Calvert’s business objectives. The Manager will lead major improvement projects - utilizing systematic methodology – to improve product capabilities, output, cost, yield, energy, and environment performance and logistical ease.
The Basics
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Operations Management field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a progressive leadership role
- Background in all major steel mill processes and products, with particular in–depth knowledge of Rolling process and technology, with solid understanding from quality point of view
- Basic understanding of heat, mass transfer, and material plasticity
- Demonstrated knowledge of steel rolling properties
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively work cross-functionally with various groups
- Proficiency in MS Office products
The Extras
- Working knowledge of SAP applications
- Experience leading and/or managing teams within manufacturing industry preferred

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Provides technical support for all Cold Roll Mill units, including timely and appropriate management
- Responsible for regular reporting of Cold Roll Mill process performance to senior management
- Fulfill the commitment to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- Fulfill the responsibilities required to achieve the Quality Commitment and Environmental Commitment
- Ensure working knowledge of competencies as defined in ISO 14001 (current version), IATF 16949 (current version), and ISO 17025 (current version)

- Days, Monday to Friday with extended hours as required due to periods of peak workloads or weekend coverage
