Account Representative

(12-month Contract)

Position Description:

We are seeking a full-time employee with a background in Customer Service to work as part of a team in support of our external customers.

What will you do?

• Provide superior customer service to our established customers
• Problem Solve: Analyze and find solutions to customer issues in a friendly, professional, and proactive way
• Innovate: Find more efficient methods to service customers
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, maximizing efficiency to provide a seamless customer service experience

Key Accountabilities:

• Receive customer orders to meet a sales plan or forecast as directed by management
• Book orders into our order entry system in a timely fashion, and validate against customer purchase orders to ensure correct price, dimensions, specifications, etc. 
• Manage customer inventory levels and take appropriate actions to ensure on-time-delivery
• Monitor monthly shipping performance and communicate need for elevated actions internally and externally as required
• Gather, document, and communicate relevant customer business issues

Desired Skills & Experience:

• University Degree/College Diploma or 1-3 years of related experience     
• Ability to prioritize, and manage time efficiently within a dynamic business environment
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate level computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Passion for Customer Service and a drive to exceed customer expectations
• Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Work Environment:

• Office environment. 
• This position is eligible for remote work in accordance with our current Flexibile Work Options Policy.

Hours of Work:

• Typical business hours are days, Monday to Friday, with extended hours as required due to periods of peak workloads. 
• Flexibility to determine workday start and end times outside of core hours
