What to expect on the job:


  • 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights
  • Working in dusty environments with exposure to variable temperature, heights, and confined spaces
  • Extensive walking, lifting, and repeated physical movement of the body
  • Climbing stairs, ladders, scaffolding, twisting, pulling, pushing, and crouching
  • Learning new tasks, basic skills such as rigging, operating mobile equipment, basic hand and power tools
  • Daily problem-solving, teamwork and autonomous work



Must Haves:


  • Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate
  • 3+ years experience within a construction, manufacturing/production environment 
  • Proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Focused on safety, personally and for their colleagues
  • Team oriented, experience working within a collaborative team environment,
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work demands
  • Able to lift 50lbs consistently


Nice to Haves:


  • 3+ years Steel Industry experience
  • Experience operating heavy machines 
  • Overhead/ remote crane operator experience
  • Tow motor / heavy equipment experience
  • AZ license
  • Completion of college or university


Daily responsibilities can include:


  • Overhead/Remote Crane Operation
  • Forklift operation
  • Heavy Equipment Operation
  • Construction, Bricklaying, Welding Shipping and Receiving
  • Operation of hand and power tools / measuring equipment
  • Driving (AZ vehicles)

Our team may evaluate applicants via online assessments and a preliminary phone interview. These assessments will provide greater insight into candidate skill level and their ability to perform within an Advanced Manufacturing teaming environment.


Candidates who interview successfully will receive a conditional offer of employment. The conditions include the successful completion of; provision of high school diploma/transcript, criminal background check, employment reference check and pre-placement medical assessment.
