OVERALL DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES:
Responsible for purchase order fulfillment, including: 
•    Enter customer purchase order details accurately and efficiently in SAP (material/specs, delivery requirements, customer data) to meet key performance indicators
•    Verify customer submitted tonnage against the published forecast; escalate and obtain approval when submissions exceed targets.
•    Maintain professional partnership with Quality and other internal teams to confirm product capability/constraints and coordinate required customer revisions to keep orders moving
•    Communicate customer approvals, revisions, and cancellations to Customer Service and Account teams; attach supporting documents to the SAP order
•    Review SAP customer promise dates and coordinate internally to prevent production delays
•    Provide updates to internal teams on customer requirements, changes, and order status
•    Use established guidelines to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and escalate issues when needed

EDUCATION & ACCREDITATION:  
•    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance/accounting, marketing, or supply chain management, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience 
 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:    
Required:
•    Demonstrated track record of high-accuracy data entry in an office environment with an understanding of downstream impact to customers and internal partners
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•    Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
•    Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to manage priorities
•    Self-starter mindset with openness to feedback and continuous improvement
•    Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

Preferred experience, but not required:
•    Order management or supply chain operations experience, partnering cross-functionally with sales partners or order fulfillment teams to meet delivery commitments
•    Exposure to order-to-cash, inside sales support, or customer order workflows
•    Experience in a manufacturing office environment in an administrative role
•    Experience with SAP or other ERP systems

WORKING CONDITIONS:
•    Administration building at a steel processing facility in Calvert, Alabama 
•    Comfortable working in an open and collaborative office environment
