Job Summary: The Auto Marketing - Audit and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements, including Global Assurance, IATF, SOX, and other regulatory audits. This role serves as the primary liaison between the NA Automotive commercial segment and corporate compliance teams, ensuring adherence to policies, effective process management, and accurate record retention. Additionally, the coordinator leads training efforts, process improvements, and ensures the successful implementation of pricing and contract management processes.


Key Responsibilities:

Audit Coordination and Compliance Management:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for NA Automotive SOPs, control plans, log sheets, and audit documentation.
  • Act as the primary liaison between NA Automotive (commercial), corporate compliance, Global Assurance, IATF teams, and external auditors.
  • Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, including on-site and virtual meetings, ensuring all relevant documentation and evidence are prepared and stored.
  • Ensure timely completion of remediation activities, including training, change management, and process sustainability.
  • Investigate and implement new processes, software, and technologies to enhance audit execution, accuracy, and record retention.

Contract and Pricing Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance and retention of NA Automotive contracts, exhibits, and pricing implementation documentation.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for ensuring sales directors, managers, and account leads follow defined pricing negotiation and approval processes.
  • Ensure secure storage and accessibility of all pricing agreements and related documentation in NA Auto SharePoint sites.
  • Provide ongoing training to sales teams, leadership, and business unit personnel to ensure accurate part-level pricing implementation.
  • Lead efforts to evaluate and implement software and tools to improve pricing management efficiency.

Accountabilities:

  1. Audit Coordination:
    • Lead NA Automotive segments in Global Assurance, internal audits, IATF, SOX, and related compliance audits.
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping, timely reporting, and secure storage of audit documentation.
    • Drive cross-functional collaboration between NA Automotive, legal, corporate, and external stakeholders.
  2. Compliance Management:
    • Ensure NA Automotive sales and marketing teams comply with SOPs, control plans, and price agreement guidelines.
    • Support teams in gathering necessary documentation and provide training to ensure audit success.
    • Maintain restricted access storage for critical documentation and retrieve audit records on demand.
  3. Contract and Pricing Oversight:
    • Ensure adherence to contract negotiation, approval, and price implementation processes.
    • Support sales teams in preparing, updating, and securing approval for pricing agreements.
    • Continuously improve pricing management processes through technology adoption and process refinement.

Qualifications:

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint — ThinkCell experience preferred). SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management.
  • Proven problem-solving ability, with a track record of driving actions and achieving results.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex activities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across different teams and reporting structures.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in steel, manufacturing, or related industries; sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in customer account management, auditing, accounting, or engineering is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage processes, ensure compliance, and influence results from cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision, with a focus on audit, contract, and pricing process management.
