Who we are looking for Account Manager, Automotive Sales (GM / Ford / Stellantis Team)
At ArcelorMittal, we are looking for someone to join us at the forefront of the steel industry. As an Automotive Account Manager, you’ll have exciting developmental opportunities to promote some of the most advanced and sustainable steel products, collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team, including Global R&D, and supporting customers on their journey to electrification and carbon neutrality. As part of our Sales team, your contributions will be visible all around you, within the company, and with our strategic automotive customers. As a representative of ArcelorMittal Comercial Auto (AMCA), you will support unified customer interactions and contribute to the success of both ArcelorMittal Dofasco and AM/NS Calvert.

The Account Manager supports accounts based on product and/or market segments and is seen as a sales business liaison, advocating for their customers internally while considering internal business goals.
Location: Mexico City / Monterrey/ Saltillo / Ramos Arizpe 

Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages Account Plans for the assigned customer(s) providing customer profile information, and action plans that are consistent with company direction and Sales & Marketing & strategic objectives, and action plans to achieve said objectives.
  • Track performance to account sales objectives and other metrics; identify and execute corrective actions and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Supports unified customer interactions on behalf of ArcelorMittal Dofasco and AM/NS Calvert.
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships including responding to customer service needs, solicits new business to support sales plan objectives, manages the contract process and communicates customer requirements and expectations.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction through delivery and quality metrics, regular feedback, and relationship-enhancing strategies.
  • Negotiates day-to-day customer-related issues. Able to interact and influence the customer through the negotiation process on day-to-day items including, but not limited to claims, freight, etc.
  • As part of a cross-functional team of commercial, technical, and manufacturing experts, helps drive the organization to achieve strategic and tactical objectives related to profitability, volume requirements, pricing, quality, delivery, service, product development and early-vendor involvement and, when appropriate, supporting AMNA and ArcelorMittal group objectives.
  • Functions in a team environment providing backup support to team members and participates in projects and special assignments as required.
  • Supports internal company goals including inventory management, payment performance and invoice payments/collections.
  • Communicates all business/market/customer intelligence back into the sales organization.
  • Annual business planning (ABP) & most recent forecast (MRF); and sales call planning.
