ArcelorMittal North America is looking for a Senior IT Network and Telecom Manager to lead the North America locations in architecture, implementation and support of IT network and telecom solutions. To be successful in this role you should have excellent leadership communications skills, technical expertise in the network / telecom solutions, and vendor management expertise. The position reports to the IT Infrastructure Manager North America.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Lead network / telecom architect for the Americas locations.
• Manage many network / telecom IT shared services teams that provide services to the business units in the Americas.
• Represent North America business units as a member of the global network / telecom teams to make sure all global standards are the best solutions for the North America locations.
• Manage many network / telecom vendors to make sure we have cost effective solutions that meet the business requirements.
• Provide guidance, expertise, and support for the North America business units implementing network / telecom solutions. 
• Any other duties and responsibilities as may be required.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:

• 10 years’ experience in implementing and supporting Network / Telecom solutions.
• Experience as a Network / Telecom Architect.
• Experience implementing Security in the Network / Telecom solutions.
• Experience in Vendor Management.
• Experience leading a team of individuals that do not report directly to you.
• Demonstrated skills in organization, prioritization, time-management, project management and decision-making.
• Good oral & written communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Ability to effectively work with people from all global locations and diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new skills/technologies readily.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with implementation of Cisco Solutions.
• Experience with implementation of SD-Wan solutions.
• Experience with managing Mobile Device Vendors.
• Experience with leading teams that do not directly work for you.
• Experience with implementing Voice / VOIP solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic computing environment.

EDUCATION

Minimum Education Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent.

Preferred Education Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering or equivalent.

LANGUAGE

• Fluent in English - good communication for discussion, presentation, and meetings preparation.
• Any other language skill is a plus.
